Since July 2020, I have been producing the concert series “Rare Piano Music”, presenting rare piano repertoire and my colleague pianists.
The project is now established and will be continued (6 concerts per year, five online concerts + one concert with live audience). The project is supported by Meigakudo (concert salon in Yamanashi) and Bechstein.
“Shimmering Water” is the image of the ideogram 洸 (Ko), which appears in my first name. This phenomenon makes me happy and, like music, it can rejuvenate, heal, stimulate the soul, and touch the heart… I started this project, presenting various music on this theme, at the age of 30 in 2012. My discs ≪Reflets dans l’eau≫ ≪Sing to Water≫ are the parts of the project.
Beide Künste stehen oft zueinander in Bezug. Komponisten werden durch literarische Texte angeregt, Schriftsteller von musikalischen Werken inspiriert. Text und Musik können ein Thema wechselseitig vertiefen. So entstehen im Zusammenklang von Musik und Literatur besondere, anregende Programme. Mich begeistert deshalb das Format der Konzertlesung.

≪Kreisleriana≫ (mit Werken von Robert Schumann und dem jungen Brahms zu Texten von E.T.A. Hoffmann, Hans Pfitzner und Brahms. Präsentiert in 2022 – 2023) Für die Saison 2024/25 ist ein Programm zum Thema “Nachtgedanken” in Vorbereitung.
